Wi-Fi 7 Connectivity for Mobile Industrial Equipment

BL5300E is a 3600 Mbps Wi-Fi 7 Intrinsically Safe AP Base Station for equipment manufacturers and industrial network integrators. Its compact embedded hardware combines dual-band wireless operation, two 2.5G Ethernet ports and an RS-485 interface.
The intrinsically safe hardware design is intended for appropriate industrial projects, including underground mine communications. For hazardous or regulated areas, verify the required certification, finished-system compliance and installation conditions before use.

Designed for Mobile and Embedded Integration

The board uses vibration-resistant SMA connectors for integration into vehicle-mounted terminals. Its 9–36 VDC power input and embedded mounting format also help equipment builders plan the power connection and enclosure around the host system.
The datasheet lists two combined antenna interfaces or an optional four-interface configuration. Confirm the supplied configuration, antenna selection and mounting requirements with Sailsky before ordering.

Roaming and Mesh for Changing Coverage

BL5300E supports Router, AP and Mesh modes, as well as 802.11k/v/r roaming. The datasheet lists 15 ms switching; actual results depend on client behavior, network configuration and site conditions.
A cross-subnet roaming proxy is listed to help address interruptions caused by delayed upstream forwarding-table updates. Centralized AC and cloud management, wireless diagnostics and network recovery functions can also support network operation.
For background on roaming technologies, see the Apple guide to Wi-Fi roaming.

Where Can BL5300E Be Used?

The datasheet identifies underground coal mine communications, warehouses, AGVs, inspection robots and video monitoring as potential applications. Evaluate the complete wireless design and equipment requirements for each site.

Selection Questions

What wireless capacity does BL5300E offer? The datasheet lists up to 3.6 Gbps aggregate, combining up to 700 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 2900 Mbps at 5.8 GHz. These are specified wireless rates, not guaranteed application throughput.
Does intrinsically safe hardware design mean the installation is certified? No certification scope is established by this description alone. Confirm the project-specific certificates and finished-system compliance before deployment in a hazardous area.
